Overview

Z-Tech is CNRS's all-online competition — a pair of FIRA simulation leagues you can enter from anywhere. From smart-home automation to autonomous rescue, you build, code, and compete in a fully virtual arena. No lab and no hardware required — just your skills.

Every Z-Tech league runs entirely in simulation, so anyone can take part from a laptop — no expensive kit and no travel. You program a virtual robot or AI agent, then go head-to-head with teams from across the country and beyond.

The two leagues cover core robotics and AI skills — home automation, sensors and logic in Smart Home, plus navigation, pathfinding and object collection in CoSpace Rescue. Each is judged by experts and rewards real engineering and coding skill.
